VICE PRESIDENT, SALES & MARKETING
The Company Kohltech Windows & Entrance Systems (“Kohltech”) is one of Canada’s largest window and door manufacturers, with production facilities in Nova Scotia, Ontario, and Alberta. The Role Located in Debert, Nova Scotia and reporting to the President, the Vice President (“VP”), Sales & Marketing is a member of the Senior Leadership Team and will lead and modernize Kohltech’s sales and marketing functions. This includes achieving targeted sales and profitability levels, strengthening the go-to-market strategy, building a unified sales operating model, aligning marketing with demand generation, and introducing greater commercial visibility and pricing discipline across the business. The VP is required to travel nationally and internationally several times per year. Building on Kohltech’s strong foundation, the VP will position Kohltech for its next phase of growth by ensuring commercial strategies are aligned with operational capacity and long-term business priorities. This role partners closely with Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance to drive coordination across functions and deliver consistent, high-quality customer experiences. Who You Are The ideal candidate is an accomplished senior commercial leader who brings structure, sound judgment, and a steady hand in complex, evolving environments. You are comfortable functioning at both the strategic and operational levels, setting direction while ensuring disciplined execution. You think beyond immediate sales targets and demonstrate the ability to align sales and marketing strategies with broader business objectives. Within the Sales and Marketing team, you foster accountability and teamwork, reinforcing a “we” culture that prioritizes collective success over individual performance. Essential competencies include entrepreneurial spirit, leadership, professionalism, communication proficiency, and business acumen. Background & Experience- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Engineering, or related field. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Minimum of 10 years experience in Sales and Marketing, 5 years of senior commercial leadership experience within multi-location, product-based, manufacturing, or operationally complex businesses.
- Success in developing and executing strategies to serve a dealer channel.
- Experience building disciplined sales organizations, including forecasting, pipeline management, pricing, and performance management.
- Experience integrating marketing, CRM, and performance metrics to improve commercial visibility and results.
- Experience in the building material industry would be considered an asset.
Sales & Marketing Assistant

Job Summary: The Sales & Marketing Assistant will have the main responsibility of providing administration and support for the Marketing Department. The Sales and Marketing Assistant will create “how-to” YouTube videos and social media content, collect and package marketing material, analyze data from various sources (such as Google Analytics, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.), assist with managing the company website and with updating and managing dealer showrooms. Job Duties:- Update dealer showroom database, compile database outlining the products and marketing materials that are on display at each dealer location.
- Update/maintain the company website. This will include learning the basics of our WordPress website, adding image descriptions, adding images to the existing photo gallery, and updating current information when new data exists.
- Complete competitor analysis, which includes compiling a list of competitors, reviewing similarities and differences and looking for opportunities to promote new products in new areas and key markets.
- Market segment research, review and create an overview of the renovation vs. new construction market in Canada and North Eastern US.
- Create YouTube videos, learn video editing and sound editing software, compile video content into instrumental videos, upload and create a small social launch for each.
- Assist with the delivery of marketing material, coordinate pickups and delivery with the inventory management team (collecting, packaging and shipping materials).
- Data Analysis, review/analyze data from various sources to help future marketing efforts.
- Create social media content on a monthly basis and schedule posts.
- Have a strong understanding and knowledge of Sales & Marketing, and being currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Public Relations, Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Business Administration, or a Diploma or Certificate in any of the aforementioned disciplines is preferred. The curriculum covered must have provided the candidate with a core base of marketing knowledge.
- Desktop publishing experience is considered an asset.
- Strong interest in sales and marketing.
- Self-starter able to work independently
- Strong organizational, communication, and administrative skills are a necessity.
