PRODUCTION WORKERS

We are currently recruiting production workers at our manufacturing facility located in Debert, N.S.

Our ideal production worker candidate is comfortable working with hand tools, is able to read a tape measure and understands the importance of producing a quality product. They must also have an excellent work ethic and attitude and contribute to a positive, friendly and safe work environment.

We offer attractive shift times (days or evenings) and our 2018 starting wage is $12.75 per hour for day shift and $13.64 per hour for the evening shift.

Receptionist/Administrative Assistant

 

Reports To:                Customer Service Manager

 

Job Summary:  Responsible for receptionist/administrative duties Responsible for receptionist duties such as handling phone, mail, faxes and greeting visitors.  Also responsible for maintaining spreadsheets and ordering office supplies and literature.  General office duties, such as filing and assisting co-workers is also expected of this position.

Job Duties:

  • Answering the phone and directing calls to the appropriate department
  • Greeting visitors and provide them with general support
  • Reply to email, telephone or face to face inquiries and provide information by answering questions and requests
  • Receive, sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail, email and faxes
  • Preparing courier shipments and related paperwork
  • Assist with travel arrangements and booking conferences, meetings, and appointments
  • Working with spreadsheets, Microsoft Word, Outlook and other documents, as well as data entry
  • Maintain multiple contact lists (internal and external)
  • Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, emails, faxes and forms
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
  • Develop and maintain filing systems, both manually and electronically
  • Assist the warranty department with service calls and scheduling appointments
  • Maintain office supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; obtaining quotes; placing and expediting orders for supplies and literature; verifying receipt of supplies
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Carry out reception/administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning, etc.
  • Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
  • Carrying out other duties as required from time to time

 

Qualifications: 

  • Pleasant telephone and in-person demeanor
  • Proven reception and/or administrative assistant experience would be considered an asset
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player with a solid customer focus
  • Ability to learn new processes in a fast paced environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent
